Escaping Ghost

     We now have a little information on her home that she built.  Sarah Winchester took to heart what she had been told to do.  She was dedicated to her work.  Mrs. Winchester truly believed this had to be done.  It is said that she lived in peace with the ghost.  Sarah's home was architecturally challenging.  Every evening Sarah would go to her seance room.  To get to this room she would walk quickly through the twisting hallways and interminable rooms.  Sarah would then push a button, a panel would fly back and she would step into another apartment.  Sarah Winchester would then open a window and climb out, not in the open air, but onto the top of a flight of steps.  These steps led her down a level and then back up again to that same level of the house she was just on.(Blanchard).  I wouldn't want to do that much walking to get to one room.  Sarah felt that she needed to confuse the ghost when going to her seance room.   During time frame in her special room she received orders from the spirits on what to build next on the house.  Mrs. Winchester was indeed a strange woman.
